STATEMENT

Absolute Zero emerges as an introspection on the inherent balance and tranquility within the human spirit, mirrored through the act of fervently drawing a circle. This gesture transforms into a journey of self-discovery and affirmation, where the arm’s reach not only demarcates a physical realm but also carves out an introspective territory.

The circle, a shape with neither beginning nor end, symbolizes notions of infinity and unity, resonating with the scientific concept of absolute zero, the theoretical point at which all kinetic activity halts and matter attains its minimum energy state. At this juncture, matter is not inert; rather, it exists in a state of perfect equilibrium, devoid of the extreme fluctuations associated with higher thermal energy levels. This work captures the essence of tranquility and balance, metaphorically positioning itself at the “zero” of being, a midpoint removed from emotional and existential extremes, not veering towards the negative or the positive, but residing in a serene and mindful limbo.
