STATEMENT

A woman!

Disobedience or Rebellion? Don’t Look Back is a tribute to “Lot’s Wife”, a character from the Bible whose name is not even mentioned in said text. One of the many religious teachings that has conditioned the view of women in the eyes of men.

Every July 12th (the day of my birth), from 2005 to the present, I record my body weight. The resulting amount is matched in salt and placed inside a transparent bag.
