STATEMENT
I am creating a series of abstract drawings that involve drawing straight lines from one end to the other, as an exercise in alienation; this creates a visual effect that allegorically produces a sensation/effect of speed.
The title of this piece refers to «Planck Time», which is the smallest unit of time that can be measured according to theoretical physics. It was proposed by the German physicist Max Planck and is defined as the amount of time it takes for light to travel a distance equal to the Planck length in a vacuum, which is approximately 5.39 × 10^-44 seconds. It is important to note that Planck Time is currently unmeasurable with existing technology and is considered a theoretical limit of the temporal scale in the universe.
